Wednesday's Word
I'm gonna use Wednesday's Word to share my thoughts on yesterday's quote. Today's word is "light."
Actual meaning: Something that admits illumination
Meaning to me: Something that dispels darkness
Light is something that has always amazed me. I mean even the tiniest match in a dark cave can break through the darkness. But a huge fire can dispel darkness all-together.
I want my life to be like a raging fire. I want to shine brightly for all to see. Whether my life shines for Christ or not, He is still with me. He has promised never to leave me, but my life is to shine before those in darkness. Those in darkness don't know about the Source of our light. They don't know about the goodness of Christ. If we don't show the light to them, how will they know about it?
It is the job of believers to bring glory to God through our lives. We bring glory to Him by illuminating Him with our lives. If we are too ashamed to show that light to the world, our lives will not bring glory to God.
As I said before, I want to be a raging fire. I want to show God to everyone I meet. I want my life to bring glory and honor to Him.
