Sometimes God Just Does Things Just Because

Have you ever had one of those days where you woke up feeling blah? The humidity outside is 200%, it's already over 100 degrees and it's only 6 am, and on the way to work you remember, "Man I forgot to pay that last cable bill." And you decide that the latest Karen Kingsbury book will have to wait until next paycheck in order for you to keep up a good name with the cable company.

So you get to work and climb breathlessly through the un-air-conditioned stairwell. And you pull out the number to the cable company along with your account number, then you call them up and are passed through the billing department like 20 times as they try to find your account. And you wonder what in the world is going on, after all you just want to pay your money. Then a very nice lady comes on the line and says, "Ma'am, we have found your information, and you don't owe us any money. We sent out a bill a month ahead of time, and your account was closed before the starting date of that bill. We actually owe you $17, and we will be sending it in the mail."

See, sometimes God blesses you just because He knows you need an attitude adjustment, and that maybe, just maybe that new Karen Kingsbury book will be a true blessing to you right now.

So the next time you wake up feeling blah, just look for a blessing. God is certain to send it!!
