I Shall Know As I'm Known
1 Corinthians 13:12 - For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
This has always been one of my favorite verses. The promise is awesome. I mean think about it. Right now we don't really know exactly what is in store for us. We know if we're saved that we're going to heaven. We know we'll be with Jesus, and He even let John tell us a few things about that city, but what is truly in store for us is beyond our imagination. But we won't be left in the dark forever. One day we'll be there. We'll see Jesus face to face, and we'll experience all that He has prepared for us! I can hardly wait for that one day!
P.S. I know this is short today, but I really feel like I'm seeing "through a glass, darkly" today. I've got "the funk," and my head feels fuzzy! I promise to return to regular posting once I feel a bit more coherent!! If you'd send up a prayer for me, I'd appreciate it!!
