Tuesday Toss Up
Today's toss-up is about something I heard a lot about over this past weekend (more on that later.) Now to the toss-up, let's see those comments, people.
"God doesn't look at our abilities. He looks at our availability."
What do you think of when you see this quote? Post your comments and let me know!

I think "Isn't that the truth" You can have the biggest of talents but it you're unwilling to be available to the Lord for Him to use said talents. well what's the point. But the person who gives his heart and is available to the Lord, even when said person doesn't look to have the ability, God can shape and teach and bring out the abilities.
Oh and I forgot to say, Good to have you back!
I think we have the ability to do anything if we want to to so yes, I think he looks at our availabilty. How much we want to do for him is the key, just my 2 cents....
Great post, glad to see you're back:)
Hey did you have a good birthday?????
yep i agree w/this totally ~ i'm in it right now... i was put in the head up the crafts @ VBS & have no real clue what i'm doing , but the kids are having fun and we are learning Gods' word together :D
He's looking at your drive, desire, and commitment, not whether you pass the finish line first.
As long as you're in the race, you're a winner.
I think of Isaiah!
I thank GOD this is a true statement!
Hi, great posts. Can I just point out your term "Toss" has a conitation in the UK for something rude. Don't want you to inadvertantly offend someone.
I think that's an interesting comment, of God looking at our availability rather than abilities. I think Susanne has hit in on the head. God gives us abilities, but if we are not available and open to listen to how God wants us to serve him, then what use are those abilities to God.
I think I often fail on both accounts on a daily basis if I'm honest.
